Since I have not had any other complaints about this tank rusting (and we do
sell a lot of them), I think it is highly likely that it was indeed the
additive you used that caused the problem.  Incidentally, this aftermarket
tank is the only avaailable one (other than the expensive Dealer one), so
there are no other aftermarket alternatives.
