The green wire running from your O2 sensor to the ECU is coxial. The coax is supposed to shield the signal from interference. The problem arises when the insulation between the coax and signal wire breaks down over time. This shows up as an off idle stumble when the engine is warm. If the only problem you're having is the increased idle speed, your problem is most likely not the O2 sensor wire. Have you checked the basics like timing and throttle position switch adjustment? (wrote this about 3 weeks ago but frogot to send) Just read some comments on O2 sensor wire being coaxial and thought that would solve my problem - but my 02 sensor isn't coax - just terminates with spade plug. Anyway, It used to idle around 800 rpm which was just fine but for the last few months it seems to idle at about 1700 rpm. Checked cable and such - can't find problem. Any ideas? >>
