Subject:Fuel Gauge/Sending Units Common on all vanagons??

the full moon at midnight.

Hope this makes it to the list :-)

Any learned opinions on whether the fuel gauge from an 85 water cooled
will work if I install it into an 81 air cooled? Are the sending units
the same at the tank in the different years?
