running rough and backfiring- sounds like running rich. check the oxygen sensor connector and temp2 connector. Then check the fuel pressure regulator pressure. i'll wager a gin and tonic on it being one of those three (assuming y our grounds are, well grounded, and vac lines suck) -matthew 84 running smooth!
