I just pulled up my front carpet, in preparation to do some of the Bulley
sound and heat modifications, and found the floor rusted pretty badly.  It
looks like the P.O. had a brake fluid leak and didn't bother to clean up at
all.  The floor board is not rusted through but is pretty rusted in places.

So, any suggestions on how to attack that rust?
