Try this simple fix (maybe)

Dump a pint of Marvelous Mystery Oil into  your crankcase.

I would almost bet within a day or two the clacking passes on down the
road.

If your lifter is gummed up and having a hard time pumping up, the
Marvel will clear it up.

When I purchased my van it did the maringa, cha cha, all the time.
I changed my oil, and dumped some Marvel in it -------gone.

Now I use it every oil change, keeps the rings and lifters free.
