This kinda reminds me of the "good ol' days" when I drove brittish cars or when the Brit/Harley motorcycleguys met, then the reports back home often where:
"I got here without a breakdown,lots of beer, perfect day"  ;-) 
Guess that�s the "soul" in our beloved machines........
The gathering looks nice though, whish we had something like that around here.....
