The antenna is loose at the base, or is the antenna base loose at the
body?

If the antenna base is loose at the body try tightening the nut on top
of the base.
If this doesn't work---Buy New.

If do you need a new antenna, go to Pep Boys, they have them for $7.95,
and they work good.
