I know that and so does everyone else.
The new Beetle does not profess to be German.
But don't people normally pay more for a genuine BOSCH product because they
assume its made in Germany.
I've heard mnany people on this list say things like 'why buy a cheaper
substitiute when you can have the genuine German item' - well guess what,
they often aren't German anymore.
