To all those who are technically inclined. I have my porsche transaxle labeled and apart. The case is pretty dirty/greasy outside/inside. What is the best way to get all of this dirt/grease cleaned up, and what should I coat the tranny case with before I start to re-assemble the transaxle. I have talked to dudes who say use oven cleaner to clean the case, seals still in place, and then use tranny-prep(which I still can't find in any NAPA/Pep-Boys/Western Auto). Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance. -sudhir ===== Sudhir Desai desa4622@kettering.edu desa4622@yahoo.com 1984 Vanagon Z34(soon to be S4) & 1996 Jetta Trek icq# 8255956 -- AOL: rawsuds -- yahoopager: desa4622 __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
