doug, i've always used some penetrating oil and a VERY
sharp razor.. the ones that look somewhat like this

[  o   o  ]  with only one blade, and a reinforced

and then winshield washing soluthion without ammonia
for cleanup immediately after the residue has been
cleaned

you can also just use some simple green and wash it
off real good
