Tim,

Just for additional clarification, Mercedes DOES use two (2) different
ballseats. Most cars have the 12 mm ballseats that your wheels would have
had. Then there's the late model S-class cars and M-class SUVs which came
with the larger 14 mm lugbolts & corresponding ball seats.

You were not wrong in that sense. It's just that the person you were
responding to was referring to the other kind (lughole size) of wheel.
