My parents are going through the same problem with their "new" 85. I checked
my Bentley and I don't see anything on how to remove the middle bench seat.
Am I missing something?

  Hi all.  I don't have a Bentley yet (key word: yet), and I was looking to
remove my middle seat.  I see that it slides in on tracks.  Do I need to
remove those tracks?  It appears that the carpeting and floor "cork" is in
the way to slide the seat off.  I can get the floor cork out of mine, but
not the carpeting (without removing the carpet).  Am I missing some trick to
get the seat out?  Thanks.
