Well, after checking the fan, clutch, valve train, etc., pulled the motor and disassembled...... Broken crankshaft. broken clear through the counter weight. Wow. Adam Puzerewski 81 westy 74 beetle 73 Transporter (new!!!!!!!) Vanagon Partsmobiles
