Dear List, I'm doing an engine replacement on my '86 Vanagon. The intake manifold pipes (the four "spider legs") have a LOT of carbon in them. Most is in the bend (center of pipes) where it's hard to get at. Any tips on getting this stuff out, short of a couple of hours with a little wire brush? TIA, Steve [text/html]
