Been a while since I posted one. This one is later than planned due to sickness (strep. Ugggggh.) Bus Drivin' Song (from "Truck Drivin' Song" by Weird Al) I'm drivin' a bus Drivin' my good ol' bus Pedal to the metal, hope I don't run out of luck Rolling toward the big show 'til the break of dawn Drivin' my bus with some good tunes on My Dieselbox is northward bound Time to put the hammer down But the miles ain't 'xactly flying by I'm ridin' two little tons of steel I've got to really crank the wheel While the west wind goes whipping by I've gotta check my blind spot in that rear view mirror And the weatherstripping don't fit too tight I'm jammin' gears down the back straight Lookin' for a station open late Lord, don't let my fuel run out tonight Because I'm drivin' a bus Drivin' my big brown bus Smokey's on my tail and my accelerator's stuck Got these four little wheels a-rollin' till the break of dawn Drivin' my bus with some good tunes on Oh, I don't mind when my e-mail goes right down on me And AOL it doesn't bother me too much But when I lose my right head light I know it's gonna be a long night But I'm stuck behind a big semi truck Yet still I'm drivin' my bus Drivin' my good ol' bus Headin' down the interstate, it's cost another buck Lovin' every minute, hope my map is never wrong While I'm drivin' my bus with some good tunes on I'm drivin' my bus Drivin' my bus Got a swap meet to go to, maybe I'll make a buck And I took the wrong dang exit to keep a-goin' on So I'm drivin' my bus with some good tunes on -- ----- Jennifer - ncc876@yahoo.com ... knee-deep in the hoopla ... _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
