Dear folks, I drive a 91 GL on a daily basis and have been using 205/70-14 Michelin MXT reinforced. Both the Tire Rack & the local Michelin rep tell me that they are discontinued. No tire shop I have called can come up with a suitable replacement. The Tire Rack wants me to fit 185-14 reinforced to the alloy wheels. I think that will look dorky. One shop suggested that I might go with 205/70 MX4 which are not reinforced but carry a 1520 lbs load at 35 psi. Has anyone tried these tires? How are they for stability? Does anyone have any other suggestions? I put 28,000 miles on last year and lots of them were on the highway at high speed (well relatively high speed) with cross winds.
