Good method.
I like the concept.
You still spent waaaaay too much money and took too long.

(1) stick short hose on bleeder
(2) open valve
(3) stick hose in coffee can
(4) keep master full of fluid
(5) close valve

I don't like the thought of pumping the brakes when there might be
chance of air getting sucked back into the lines.

I like letting mother nature do the job.:>)

Cost ?

Rubber hose free---gleeped from a bone yard.
Coffee can---grabbed it from a recycling bin on Monday.
