When I got my 84 westy three years ago it leaned to the left from the camping equipment. In January I replaced the shocks with KYB's from the bus depot (not an attempt to fix the lean). Now it leans to the right. I put the old shocks back on and it's still off by some 4 inches. Also, I was in Florida in late Feb. and my right outer CV started grinding and popping. Being away from home I took it to a shop in Jacksonville that was recommended on the Westfalia owners web sight message board. They replaced the half shaft with a rebuilt one and I was back on the road that day. Could they have done something wrong? The owner was very nice and seemed to know vanagons. What could explain this bizarre occurrence? Thanks for any help or bright ideas, Jim Gregory in blistering Hotlanta, GA
