I have a collection of Bentley;s myself. The one used for Vanagons does say
that it is the "Official Factory Repair Manual".

I also have manuals for 3 & 5 series BMW's, VW Fox, Type 2 & 3 etc. etc. etc.
The BMW ones just say "Service Manual". You ought to get a copy of the
"Enthusiast's Companion". We should have one like this for Vanagons. It's a
compilation of articles & tech tips from the BMW Car Club of America magazine
"Roundel".
