painting the grill:
i took them off the bus, scrubed them with dish soap (to remove any oils,
and bugs). Then i masked off the VW emblem and the foot of the mirrors and
spray painted them. I used black semi-gloss. About 5 or 6 coats. i used
one can for all of the items. Front and back- mostly front.  The paint was
some name brand that i got at the local hardware store. They have been
this way for 3 years and look really good.
