I had a similar problem recently.  But I was smelling propane in the garage.
Finally found the leak in the regulator after crawling under the van.  A
tiny crack or hole in the body of the regulator.  Just replaced it and
everything is fine.  I'm surprised you don't smell any gas but if you're not
parked in a garage, you probably won't.
