Just want to add a minor clarification. There is actually a name for that
12-point tool. It is called an "XZN" tool. Most use CV's an 8 mm XZN-head
bolts. My rear CV's on my 16" actually uses a 10 mm XZN-head bolts. Fronts
are 8 mm XZN like most.
