Hi all- I have a 83 Vanagon. The original dash had no tach, just a analog
clock.
 I recently purchased a dash from an 85 Vanagon(thanks Alan!), this one has a
factory tach.
I want to take out the old non tach dash,and put in the newer dash from the
85 in my 83. Is this a plug and play deal? Will all the gauges work the same?
Do I need to run extra wires for the new tach? Should I have researched this
a little further before I Bought the new dash??
