See, "revolutions" is already a plural noun, so there is no need to say "750 RPMs," but you may say "750 RPM." In this case, I think colloquial rules when it comes to revolutions. People have for years used the term RPM as if it's a single noun. Kinda (yes, kind of) like the way they used to say GP's as Jeeps. Eventually, colloquial use twisted the initials into an acceptable noun. Thank goodness. Otherwise what would we call those Global Position Satellites? Anyway, "Viva La Revolucion". "Viva La RPM's" What else can I say? Engrish is my second Ranguage. AOL's spellchecker even thinks RPM is a proper noun and suggests "Rpm's" as a proper use.
