Joel, I concur. I have been driving a fixed high roof Vanagon for over 14 years and I find high winds are not appreciably more troublesome than the 1983.5 Westfalia which preceded it. Of course much depends on the aerodynamics of the top itself. Garrett Adams - Stockton, CA 1983.5 Adventurewagen GL
