Subject:85 will not start

OK, I have a dumb question, but here it goes. My vanagon will not start.  Its
not the battery, not the starter, or any other loose connection that I can
see.  Where is the second solenoid in the engine?  Not the one attached to
the starter, the other one. I cannot seem to locate it.  I still have not
gotten my "Bentley" yet, so I have no idea what I am doing.  Thanks
