No local salvage sources, all the early vans' handles are broken or gone. I
have found a few newer ones, though.
I have reviewed the archives. To modify the shorter, newer handle what do I
do?  One post read to cut off the extension and use JB weld to fill the
screw hole...what's the purpose of this?
Can someone respond that has actually done this?
I have the interior panel removed and the outer handle is off with its
broken pieces removed. All else is in good working order...just the pop
metal handle problem.
