Are you really supposed to replace that stuff!  ;-)

Any advice on what material to use to replace the anti-abrasion
sheathing on the four FI hoses going to the fuel rails on my 2.1L?

I'm replacing all the fuel lines, and this stuff is cracked/brittle.
