Subject:Waterpump replacement on '84 Westy 1.9L: 2 Questions

Listees -

I have 2 questions. I am doing a waterpump replacement and am following
the instructions at http://volksweb.relitech.com/19wpump.htm

Tom says we need 2 coolant pipe gaskets in addition to the gaskets that
come with waterpump. I just got t-stat and waterpump in the mail from Bus
Depot today. Of course no coolant pipe gaskets. My local parts store
doesn't have them, and I've looked(overlooked?) on Bus Depot for them.
Any ideas where I can find them and perhaps the order #?

Also, is there a significant difference in doing this job if the van has
a/c? Does the compressor need to be removed, or do we just work around
it?

Thanks,

Les
