Hi

I was trying to install a swivel seat basis on an 87 base camper and it looks like
that with the basis in place the battery cover cannot be opened.

Are battery covers shorter on GL Westys than in regular vans and base campers? Or am I
doing something wrong? Has anyone installed an Eurocamper's bolt-on basis? What is
the collective wisdom on these versus the factory (welded) ones?
