Years ago in Seattle, my early 60's Beetle caught fire
on the freeway.  There was no traffic & no one to come
to my aid.
I clearly recall the horror I felt, realizing I had no extinguisher.
Frantically, I pulled my infant son from his car seat & threw
dirt & gravel on the flames.
Should there ever be a "next" time, I intend to be
better prepared!
