I recently made a quick pass through 2 junkyards in
Rockville, MD and saw the following:

a blue 85? Mark III conversion vanagon: interior
looked like the large American conversions-big
upholstered front seats, upholstered fold down back
seat
engine OK (written on side)
Trans NO (same)
Overhead AC unit behind front seats with duct to front
vents-all there

another blue 85 7 pass:
engine OK
trans NO
Overhead AC unit behind front seats with duct to front
vents-all there
all seats-blue
front turn signal lenses
all doors look OK
body in fair shape except for the roof-a burned out
911 Porsche was stored there
most glass OK

I didn't get the phone numbers of the yards but I can
If anyone is interested.
