Dear Michael,

That sounds good... Will this latest version filler pipe work with an '85
gas tank without replacing the tank?

Thanks,

Peter

Spill out of the filler pipe (2WD) --> replace the filler pipe with the
lastest version. It got a small ball valve at its bottom to prevent just
that spill (if you look into the parts micro fiche / CD you - or your VW
parts guy will find 3 - take the 1 on top). Runs about 100 bucks, easy to
replace, feel free to ask for details.
Other spills --> check / replace grommets on top of tank, i.e. drop tank =
more pain.
