Be aware that many axle stands/jack stands are rated PER PAIR. Meaning that two pairs of stands at two tons each equals 4 tons. Still plenty for a Vanagon, unless you fill it with sand. Erik Valeur 83 diesel Vanagon 87 Vanagon 83 GTi 98 Beetle
