Great report!
I too, spent a long time looking--a year--but finally
found what I wanted just a few hours away.

Shopping in person, tho, I did notice an interesting
phenomenon: all other factors being equal,  most vans
I saw & drove just didn't  "feel"  like  "my"  van.
