I haven't named my 87 Westy yet, but on our recent California Coast trip, climbing the hills of Hiway 1's northernmost first 23 miles, with a Credence Clearwater CD playing, it came to me that "Proud Mary" would be a good name for a Vanagon.  After all, these vehicles are nearly as nimble and fast as a riverboat ;o)
