All, I have a 91 GL, if that matters. My sliding door is getting cranky. It slides back and forth no problem, but the difficulty is in the latching. Too hard, and the door bounces back open. Too soft and the door just doesn't latch. Lately the difference between too hard and too soft has become smaller and smaller. Now, it is almost impossible to get it to latch closed from the inside. From the outside, it is a bit easier, because you can hold your left hand on the trailing edge of the door, and help it out. Anyway, what can I do to get the door to latch better? What should I be lubing? Any adjustments possible? Thanks. Bob Spooner Environmental Engineer Middletown Generating Station Middletown, CT
