Hey Volks, A while back, in the midst of another unrelated repair, my local mechanic diagnosed and repaired a sticky accelerator cable. It made a tremendous difference to have a smooth, rapid response. It was one of those things that creeps up over time and I failed to notice the change. Well, given the fact that I live across the street from the Pacific Ocean and it's corrosive air (don't ask about the rust issue or I'll start to weep) it seems like it's happened again. Any advice on how to grease the accelerator cable? Thanks in advance. This list is the best!
