While replacing my CV boots and re packing the CVs all the while
following the Hayes and Bentley manuals.
I found that one of the CVs would not slide properly with the machine
turned side in the wheel receptacle as it is supposed to go.
I reversed the outer ring and it works right but by the book its
installed wrong.
Is this something to worry about or just a weird situation.
