Andrew,

I recently bought a center console from Heartland America for $39 plus
shipping. It's really pretty nice and is considerably cheaper than anything
at the stores. Fits perfectly in my Westy; has four cup holders, a light in
the large locking center storage compartment, 2-3 smaller hidden
compartments, and three extension cigarette lighter plug outlets. Also
comes with four mounting screws. The gray color matched perfectly in my
gray interior and it also comes in tan I think. I haven't tried climbing
over it but I think you could. I know the seats will stil turn all the way
around. Anyway, check it out.

By the way, I see you're a fellow bureaucrat. Are you in the DC area?
