I'm working on adding powersteering to my 16" Syncro. I took all the
components from a WBX engined van for my project. The problem I am having is
I have a 1.6 turbodiesel in my Syncro.

Yeas, yes. I know the diesel won't like the extra strain caused by the PS
pump and the AC that I will add later. I'm not worried about it because I
plan on moving up to a 1.9TD or even 1.9TDI later.

Anyway, I need a PS bracket and possibly even an AC compressor bracket from a
line 4 engine like a late model Jetta/Golf/Passat. Someone on the lists had
mentioned to me once that turbodiesel Jettas did come with PS. I figured that
to be the best donor candidate. I doubt that I will find a used Tiico mount
out there.

If all else fails, I guess I can always have a mount made.
