Chas, I will have to agree with Todd on this one.
I personally know of four large truck fleets that have been using 409 in
their older trucks for years, and they were sold the refrigerant by an
automotive/truck AC supplier.

I too, would like to know where you learned this about 409, not being an
accepted automotive refrigerant.

Just curious.
