Last winter in Mexico, I met a couple in a Vanagon.
They told me their crack VW mechanic had taught them
to quickly & easily clean the carbon tracks on the AFM
with a *clean, fresh pencil eraser.
They claim to have done it & that it worked like a charm.
Just a bit of grist for the mill.
