My passenger side door glass disengaged from the crank mechanism recently. I took the door panel off and found the crank to be working so I just eased the nylon piece on the lifting mechanism back into its slot on the bottom of the window. Seems to work OK for now but for how long? Does that nylon piece that fits into the slot wear causing the problem to reoccur at the most inopertune times?
