Subject:Re; Keys Locked in Van

I have this really stupid question.

How does one go about locking their keys in a Vanaon?

The drivers door won't lock by pushing the button, and slamming the
door.
It's a saftey feature, to prevent this from happening.

Enlighten me, I'm stumped.
