I mounted a universal bracket in the uppermost back corner of my Vanagon,
fished the wire down the air vent cowling then up to my CB thru the door
panel. I have my "Firestick," on a spring screwed into one of those quick
disconnects so when I'm not using it, I can quickly slip it into the trunk.
I like it.

Subject: CB antenna question

HI all, I'm looking to install a CB in my 91 Westy and wonder if anyone
has tried using the adapter that JC Whitney sells to allow you to use
your existing antenna as both a CB and regular AM/FM antenna. I would
like to not drill a hole in my roof but I need decent CB range up here in
Alaska.

Thanks
