I thought this posting was spam and deleted it immediately. Anyway, all I do
is plug in my digital camera to the USB connector and it brings up an icon in
<mycomputer> on my desktop. Done.

What's wrong with that?

Nevermind that it took me 8 months to figure that out. No downloading
anything. Of course both my PC & camera are Sony. I'm sure that helps.
