It's a Whirlpool, model ACM062XK, and nope, it's not a 12-volt, but that's
why we're adding a fairly high-end quality inverter. Don't know THAT model
yet 'cause I dunno beans about 'em...one of my fellow escapees from the
loony bin on this project is an electrical engineer, circuit board designer,
etc...he's to blame -- I mean, responsible -- for picking that out and it's
still in research mode right now.

I bought the unit at my friendly neighborhood Lowes for $149. It's fairly
quiet too -- the a/c I mean, not the Lowes -- much quieter than I thought it
would be.
