Morning Listees!
Would I be wise to buy a used sliding door handle
as an onboard  spare for my '85 Westy?
Seems like I've read lately of a couple of these that
have broken off, etc.  While traveling South of the Border,
loosing the use of the handle would be immediately *more
critical than having an ECU go bad, for example.

Are these sliding door handles known to fail completely
often enough that I should buy a used one as a spare?
